Allwyn, incoming operator of The National Lottery, is urging the small proportion of independent retailers who haven’t yet completed their Transfer of Retailer Agreement (TRA) from Camelot to Allwyn to log on at TNLpartners.co.uk and complete the simple process as soon as possible. This must be done by 18 December at the very latest, so retailers have just two weeks left to take action.

Allwyn’s Director of Channel Operations, Alex Green, commented: “We’ve had an incredible response so far, with 92% of independent retailers signed up to continue selling The National Lottery under Allwyn from 1 February. We’re delighted with the co-operation we’ve seen from them in prioritising the transfer ahead of the deadline.

“With just two weeks to go, we’re working hard to get the very small proportion of retailers who are yet to complete their transfer to do so urgently. Retail will play a major role in the exciting plans we have lined up for The National Lottery from February and we want as many current retailers as possible to join us on the exciting journey ahead as we raise even more money for Good Causes together. We don’t anyone to miss out – and so would urge those we’re still waiting to hear from to get in touch with us straightaway.”

All independent retailers will have received communications outlining what they need to do to complete the TRA, including:

  • Registering their store and creating an account to start the process
  • Confirming their personal details (they’ll need the last three digits of the bank account used to pay their current National Lottery invoices, as well as proof of identity)
  • Reading and signing their Transfer of Retailer Agreement

Retailers can access the portal via TNLpartners.co.uk or by scanning a QR code featured on the communications they’ve been sent, and it’s worth noting that this process can only be completed by the store owner.

Following the 18 December Agreement transfer deadline, retailers will receive a ‘Welcome to Allwyn’ pack early in the New Year, which will contain more information on what they can expect from 1 February – including initial details of new and improved National Lottery games from March 2024 onwards. Retailers will also receive information about the training they will need to complete digitally ahead of the changeover.
