Allwyn statement regarding fourth National Lottery licence

It has been officially confirmed that the suspension that prevented the Gambling Commission from formally awarding the fourth National Lottery licence to Allwyn Entertainment Ltd has been lifted.

It has been officially confirmed to Allwyn today, Tuesday 13th September, that the suspension that prevented the Gambling Commission from formally awarding the fourth National Lottery licence to Allwyn Entertainment Ltd has been lifted. This follows IGT’s decision to withdraw its appeal, further to Camelot’s withdrawal last week.

These developments pave the way for Allwyn to receive the award of, and begin transition to, the fourth National Lottery licence which will start in February 2024.

Given the period of national mourning currently being observed, we will provide further details when appropriate.
