Frequently asked questions

Can I send my CV to you directly?

To make sure every application is treated fairly, we ask that all candidates apply online to a current vacancy through our careers site.

There’s no closing date on the job description, how do I know when it’s open until?

We encourage you to make your application as soon as possible. We can receive high volume and good quality applications and therefore may remove our vacancies from the website as soon as we have enough candidates to interview.

I’ve applied for a role, when will I hear back?

We aim to respond to all applications within 7 working days. During busy times, it might take a little longer, but rest assured our Talent Acquisition Team reviews every application and will be in touch as soon as possible.

I’ve been invited for an interview, what should I expect?

Our interviews are designed to be a two-way conversation. We use a competency-based approach, often following the STAR format (Situation, Task, Action, Result), to help you share real examples of your skills and experience. You’ll also have the chance to show how you align with our values - Trusted, Innovative and Inclusive. Most importantly, we want you to feel comfortable, prepared, and able to bring your best self to the process.

What should I wear for my interview?

Wear what you feel comfortable in. As a guide, smart-casual is always good for an interview.

I have a disability, illness or injury which requires adjustment or additional support in the recruitment process, what should I do?

We are committed to supporting individuals with disabilities, long-term conditions, neurodiversity, and mental health conditions throughout the recruitment process and during employment with us. If you require any adjustments or assistance at any stage, whether during your application, assessment, or interview, please get in touch

What does vetting and onboarding involve?

As a regulated business, we must adhere to Gambling Commission vetting standards by conducting background checks on all new colleagues. Some roles require you to be deemed fit and proper to fully carry out your duties. The type of checks may vary depending on the role, but they typically include a criminal record check, adverse financial check, identity verification, and, in some cases, an assessment of adverse media and social media accounts. This process is facilitated using proof of ID and proof of up to two forms of address, all completed digitally for convenience, where possible.

Once you have accepted an offer, the vetting process usually takes a minimum of two weeks. This ensures you have a clear timeline for when you can start and feel fully prepared to join us.

What development opportunities will I have once I join?

We know careers aren’t one-size-fits-all, so we offer a wide range of ways to learn and grow. From structured training, online learning and apprenticeships, to coaching, mentoring and leadership development, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to build your skills.

Who can I contact if I have more questions about the recruitment process?

If you have been through our website but still have questions, our friendly Talent Acquisition team is always here to help! Feel free to reach out to us via email.

A Winning Career Awaits.
